Dr. Clay is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist & a Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Washington State Psychological Association.

Since 1989, she has worked in addictions; community mental health; as a consultant; in vocational rehabilitation; in state prisons, psychiatric hospitals and medical clinics; in private practice; and as a faculty member at private and state institutions of higher education.
