I have specialized in work with individuals, families and adolescents since I began my career as a psychotherapist in 1993 at a community mental health center in Dundalk MD. I remained there for 14 years as both a youth and family therapist and clinical director/supervisor. During my time there, I obtained an additional masters degree, a license to supervise, as well as training in Client Centered Play Therapy, Filial Therapy, Sandtray, EFT, and many additional techniques and therapies. I have extensive experience supervising and training other graduate level social workers and psychology students, as well as PhD and PsyD students working to obtain their credentials in the state of Maryland. My work experience also includes a specialty in Eating Disorders obtained during employment at the Center for Eating Disorders (1998-2000).

I only use research based methods and am certified in DBT, CBT, and Gottman Couples Therapy. I am passionate about learning and using new innovative techniques, and am continually building my skills and knowledge.

I have been in private practice for 8 years and am conveniently located in Towson.

I offer all new potential clients a free phone consultation to ensure that I am able to meet their needs and that they are comfortable with me before scheduling or paying for an appointment.
