I am a licensed psychologist with a psychotherapy practice in Berkeley, California. I offer confidential psychotherapy to adults who are experiencing a wide range of problems. I provide a safe environment in which to identify, explore and resolve those issues that are causing distress in your life.

I have provided counseling in the SF Bay Area since 1987 and have worked with diverse client populations in numerous mental health settings. I have a particular interest in women's mental health issues, including postpartum mood disorders.

People come to therapy for many reasons. Through therapy, people come to understand their feelings, thoughts and behaviors. Through this exploration, people gain insight into the origins of their problems and can learn to develop better ways of dealing with these problems and interacting with others. Psychotherapy is a commitment to and an investment in yourself.

I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Calilfornia School of Professional Psychology, Alameda, CA (1993) and my B.A. in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley.
