Dr. Domino has obtained a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice (Northeastern University 1994) and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in psychology and law (University of Alabama 2001). She then completed a one-year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical and forensic psychology (University of Massachusetts Medical School 2002). Dr. Domino worked as a Chief Psychologist for the Department of Mental Health in South Carolina (2003 - 2016), conducting a variety of forensic and clinical evaluations with adult defendants. In January 2016 she opened a private practice, Domino Forensic Services, which she moved to her hometown of Tucson, Arizona, in August 2017. She is currently one of nine Arizona psychologists who has obtained board-certification in forensic psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology (2015). She has testified in various state and federal courts over 100 times.
ServicesDr. Domino conducts a variety of criminal-forensic evaluations to include competence to stand trial, insanity (mental state at time of the offense), risk assessment (of violent and sexual offenders), mitigation, competence to be executed, and post-conviction relief. She likewise conducts civil-forensic evaluations to include emotional injury, disability, fitness for duty, and immigration. Dr. Domino frequently completes diagnostic exams for both forensic and non-forensic purposes, to include the assessment of significant mental illnesses (e.g., schizophrenia), substance use disorders, intellectual deficits, cognitive decline (e.g., dementia), and feigning/malingering of symptoms.
