I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in New York City, specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. I completed clinical doctoral training at Boston University, and postdoctoral training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
In my work as a psychologist, I assist adults dealing with anxiety and mood disorders, difficulties handling stress, and health-related difficulties. I specialize in the use of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness.
Cognitive behavioral therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on our thoughts and our actions as a way to bringing about change. Cognitive behavioral therapy has been shown to be the most effective type of psychotherapy for several different types of anxiety and other problems.
I also provide psychological testing for adults.
