I am a Registered Psychologist with more than 10 years of clinical training and experience. I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Simon Fraser University, and completed an APA accredited internship at Vanderbilt University. I have worked and trained in the assessment and treatment adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, hospital treatment programs, and correctional institutions.
Over the years I have helped my clients with a number of issues, including stress and anxiety, depression, interpersonal problems, disordered eating, impulsive behaviors, grief and trauma. My treatment approach with clients includes structured and skills based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). At other times my approach is “dynamically” oriented, and focuses on changing current symptoms by working through longstanding interpersonal and emotional conflicts.
