I am a licensed clinical psychologist who maintains a private
practice in San Francisco and Marin. I received my BA in Psychology
from Boston University and my Doctorate in Psychology from the California
School of Professional Psychology. In addition to my clinical work I enjoy serving as an adjunct professor at Alliant University/California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. In my private practice I conduct psychological and neuropsychological assessments of children, adolescents and adults in order to assist in diagnostic clarification as well as recognition of individuals’ strengths and weaknesses. I assist students by providing recommendations, education and suggestions for educational accommodations, when appropriate. Following the completion of psycho-educational evaluations, I work with students in the development of academic skills and the building of confidence in order to support them in reaching their highest academic potential. I additionally devote a significant portion of my practice to providing individual psychotherapy with adults and adolescents using cognitive behavioral techniques and a psychodynamic approach, gearing my approach and techniques towards the needs of each individual. I regularly work collaboratively with people who are experiencing symptoms of mood, anxiety and adjustment disorders and I provide therapeutic assistance to patients who are adjusting to living with cognitive impairments, learning disabilities and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I work frequently with chronic pain patients doing behavioral pain management and I am a consulting neuropsychologist at St. Francis Memorial Acute Rehabilitation Program.
