Through the creation of an empathic, safe, and confidential therapeutic environment, clients are given the opportunity to examine self-defeating beliefs and patterns of behavior that contribute to psychological discomfort, as well as personal and family dynamics that influence decision making. My goal is to help clients gain a greater sense of control over difficult thoughts and feelings, and to promote flexibility in how clients respond to obstacles in their lives.
As a psychologist, my approach to therapy incorporates cognitive-behavioral, psychoanalytic, and humanistic ideas. This integrative approach allows me to alter treatment to meet the unique needs of the client. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have about the services I provide, or visit my private practice website at www.manhattanpsychologist.com.
ServicesI provide individual psychotherapy to people presenting with a wide range of emotional issues. My work ranges from helping adolescents/young adults navigate through college, graduate school, and the beginning of their careers to assisting adults in managing anxiety, loss, trauma, relationship issues, and the often unrelenting stress of city life.
