I provide warmth, compassion, and empathy with regard to treating my clients, and I focus on establishing trust, mutuality and collaboration throughout the course of psychotherapy treatment. I also believe that when clients participate actively and are committed to psychotherapy treatment a successful outcome and positive results are much more likely to occur. Thus, I tend to challenge my clients so as to help them gain insight into their problems, relieve them of emotional and psychic pain, become active agents of change, and to help them take control of their lives.
I work in an outpatient setting and specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families. Moreover, I help children, adolescents and families adjust to both expected and/or unexpected dilemmas, transitions, or circumstances that become too overwhelming or difficult to manage without professional help.
