Dr. Caceres earned her Ph.D. in 2003 from CUNY/Graduate Clinical psychology program,one of the top programs in NY. Her clinical internship was at Gouverneur Health Care Services (of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corp), an APA accredited program with her in-patient work at Bellevue Hospital. Her background is psychodynamic, working on understanding patterns that contribute to challenges/issues in order to achieve solutions and achieve and/or preserve optimal mental health. She stays on top of current trends in psychotherapy, researching new developments in the field as well as attending conferences and specialized training.

Dr. Caceres is also proficient in providing Spanish assessment/psychotherapy.
