I am a clinical psychologist licensed by the state of California.

I received my Doctorate of Psychology from the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology and a Master of Arts in Psychology from the New School for Social Research in New York City.

My training included providing more than 3,000 supervised hours of psychotherapy before getting licensed. My university and internship programs are accredited by the American Psychological Association.

I have more than 10 years experience providing psychotherapy to people of diverse backgrounds and have been interviewed as a professional expert for various media outlets including MSN.com and magazines like Cosmopolitan and Redbook.

My professional affiliations include the American Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association, the Los Angeles County Psychological Association, APA Division 45 — Society for the Psychological Study of Ethnic Minority Issues, and APA Division 9 — Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues.
