Dr. Laine has a doctorate in Psychology and Bachelor and Master's degree in Physical Education. He is a graduate of the University of California, at Davis, the University of Colorado and the Professional School of Psychology in Sacramento.�Psychotherapy is one way to promote change which examines attitude, feelings, emotions and motivation when the individual, couple or family are seeking awareness." The work is mainly to encourage the client(s) to talk and explore their feelings, beliefs, and thoughts to be integrated over time. It is a process which seeks to help gain an increased capacity for choice, through which the client(s) becomes more autonomous and self-determined. Dr. Laine strongly believes that the challenging work of personal growth is best accomplished in an atmosphere of safety, caring, support and is dedicated to providing this for his clients.

Dr.Laine uses cognitive behavioral, Gestalt, Humanistic orientations in his private practice.He works with individuals, couples, families and adolescents.

Psychological Testing: Dr. Laine is qualified and licensed to do Psychological assessment and testing including MMPI,MCMI, WAIS III (IQ) and Rorschach to help assist in treatment planning or psychological evaluation.
