Dr. Benet has over 30 years of experience providing psychological, neuropsychological and educational evaluations. He is a Florida-licensed psychologist with a Psy.D. degree in clinical psychology, specializing in psychodiagnostic assessment and testing, from the Florida Institute of Technology, and is a member of the American and Florida Psychological Associations. He also has a Ph.D. degree in education, specializing in reading disorders and program evaluation, from the University of Florida.

Dr. Benet completed his clinical internship at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL, and was an Organization of American States doctoral research fellow with the Jamaica National Literacy Board (JAMAL) in Kingston, Jamaica. Dr. Benet's undergraduate training also included one term at Universidad de las Americas in Mexico City, Mexico, and a minor in Latin American and African American Studies.
