I received my master’s degree in 1980 and my doctoral degree in 1982 from the California School of Professional Psychology-Berkeley. I completed my supervised clinical training in community metal health clinics, hospitals, and a state agency. I became licensed to practice in 1985 and have been in independent practice in the San Francisco Bay Area since then.
I offer both individual and couple therapy and enjoy working with older adolescents and adults. I am well-experienced in treating various mood and behavioral disorders. In addition, I am especially interested in helping people with relationship problems, life-stage transitions (such as changes in employment status, divorce, “empty-nest” syndrome, or caring for elderly parents), women’s issues, and personal development.
