I have been working in the mental health field since 1968. I am a 1994 graduate of the Professional School of Psychology, San Francisco and Sacramento campuses. I had the pleasure of training with John Preston, Psy. D. as a psychological assistant for four years prior to receiving my Doctorate. I have worked extensively in community mental health, in Sacramento, Yuba, Sutter, and Yolo counties. My experience includes working in adult and pediatric inpatient settings, adult and pediatric outpatient clinics, Middle and High Schools, Georgia Mental Health Institute (Atlanta), University of California, Forensic Division of the California Department of Correction and Rehabilitation and private practice offices in Marysville, Yuba City, Folsom, Sacramento, Auburn and Davis.

My private practice in Davis, California includes providing therapy, consultations, psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, Learning Disability and ADHD evaluations. My clients include children from 7 years old, adolescents and adults.

Though my original training was from a psychodynamic prospective, my current practice follows a cognitive behavioral approach, informed by my training and consultations at Stanford University with David Burns, M.D., author of Feeling Good.
