Thanks for stopping by. If you're here, life has probably thrown you for a loop somehow; perhaps it's drugs, depression, stress, or relationship issues. You may be wondering what you can do about it and who can help. In psychotherapy, as in any relationship, finding someone that you feel comfortable with and encouraged by is important. Research shows that this goodness of fit contributes to getting back on track. On my website, I've included information about me to assist you in your search.
I am invested in helping clients design the kind of plan that fits best with their view of addiction and mental health problems. I'm happy to work with you whether your goal is abstinence, cutting down, or just figuring out if there's a problem.
In my work with addictions, and depending on your preferences, I use strategies designed to prevent and manage relapses, resolve uncertainty about use, target thinking and behavior that promotes use, and enhance commitment to 12-Step work. I look forward to hearing from you and answering your questions.
I provide individual adult psychotherapy as well as drug and alcohol assessments.
