Dr. Stacey Benson did her internship at the Federal Correctional Institute in Tallahasee Florida, graduated from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology and did her residency at Southeast Human Service Center in Fargo, ND.
She is the president of the North Dakota Psychological Association(NDPA)and a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).
Dr. Benson has been the chief psychologist at a community mental health center since 1998, has taught Human Sexuality at North Dakota State University since 1999 and has been in private practice for nearly 13 years. She started the first APPIC member internship program in North Dakota and has served as the training director since its start.

Dr. Benson works with a wide variety of presenting problems. Her area of speciality is sexual offender evaluations, including but not limited to Civil Committment evaluations. She also provides gastric bypass evaluations, pre employment screenings, pre adoption screenings, parental capacity evaluations and many others.
