I am the founder and director of Brighter Hope Psychological Services in Sacramento, CA. I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology, Sacramento/Fresno. My education is American Psychological Association (APA) accredited. I completed my predoctoral internship at a local college counseling center and my postdoctoral fellowship at UC Davis Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. My training concentrations are adult, adolescent and child treatment as well as assessment and evaluation of a wide variety of populations. I am well versed in the treatment of a variety of populations including mandated, forensic, child protective services, GLBT and college-aged populations. In addition to maintaining my practice, I work for the California Department of Mental Health within the California Prison System conducting treatment and evaluation. I also teach undergraduate and graduate psychology and social science courses at several local colleges and serve on numerous local and state boards and comissions within forensic and public health systems of care.
