I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years and know the energy that goes into asking for help and finding the person that is right for you. I approach each of my clients with this in mind - respecting the courage that it takes to reach out and open up to another person. Whether this is your first time reaching out or you've worked with a therapist before, I will support your unique process in discovering inner health and healing.
My training and experience is with adults and adolescents. I completed a Doctoral degree at the University of Wyoming, and after working as an active duty psychologist in the USAF, returned to Laramie where I have lived and practiced since 1997. I have experience with all variety of emotional, relationship and health concerns, including depression, anxiety
and trauma. Using a whole person approach, I integrate Emotional Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral and Gestalt techniques.
My speciality is helping you learn to be fully yourself by building understanding, skills and unblocking fear. My practice is unique in combining traditional 'talk therapy' with a mind-body approach to healing utilizing techniques that include mindfulness and body awareness.
